Finding The Right Place For You

Fayetteville’s a beautiful place. There are old, historic homes lining the quiet streets. Just outside of town, wilderness abounds. For travelers, that blend of scenic small town and wild mountains offers some great variety when choosing where you’ll stay.

It all depends on what you’re looking for. Here are some options:

Close And Accessible

Sometimes, a trip is all about access. If you need to get out and around quickly, there’s a major transportation route just outside of Fayetteville in US Route 19. That happens to be the road that goes over the New River Gorge Bridge. There are a lot of options for lodging, including hotels and cabins, very close to the major thruway in and out of Fayetteville.

Right Around Town

If you’d like to walk from your room into town, or stroll to and from the town park and back to your lodging, you can do that in Fayetteville, too. There are several Bed and Breakfasts to choose from within walking distance of the downtown shops and the historic courthouse.

Mountain Seclusion

Because the New River Gorge National Park is so close to Fayetteville, there are a lot of secluded cabins and campgrounds in the area, because sometimes small is just right. There are resorts and lodges around the gorge, as well. All of them can get you on the path to a private getaway or a giant adventure vacation.
